Our Approach to Refunds
At Bonita Travel & Tours, we keep refund terms clear and in writing before you pay. Because our services involve third parties (airlines, embassies, hotels), refundability depends on their rules — we explain exactly what applies to your booking before any payment is made.
1. Airline Tickets
- Refunds and date changes follow the airline’s fare rules for your ticket class. Some promotional fares are non-refundable — we tell you this before ticketing.
- Where a refund is permitted, the airline processes it to the original payment method. Airline refund timelines vary (typically several working days to a few weeks).
- Any service charges are communicated before payment.
2. Visa Consultancy
- Our consultancy fee covers professional work (assessment, documentation guidance, file preparation, interview coaching). Once work on your file has begun, this fee is non-refundable.
- Embassy/consulate application fees, biometrics fees and courier charges are non-refundable under all circumstances — these are paid to the authorities, not to us.
- A visa refusal does not entitle you to a refund of consultancy or government fees. This is standard across the industry and we state it upfront so there are no surprises.
3. Tours & Holiday Packages
- Cancellation and refund terms for each package are shared in writing with your quote, before booking.
- As a general guide: the closer to departure you cancel, the higher the cancellation charges — because hotels, transport and other suppliers charge us. The exact slabs for your package are confirmed before payment.
- If we cancel a group departure, you are offered an alternative date or a refund of the amount paid to us, as applicable.
4. Umrah & Hajj Packages
- Refund terms are shared in writing with every package quote, in line with airline, hotel and visa regulations in force at the time.
- Visa fees paid to authorities are non-refundable once submitted.
