Armenia is a beautiful country in the Caucasus region. It has ancient churches, mountain lakes, and a rich history. More Pakistani travellers are discovering it every year.

Pakistani passport holders need a visa for Armenia. The good news is that you can now apply online through the Armenia e-visa system.

Important: Visa rules for Pakistani citizens changed in June 2026. Read the section below before you apply.

Can Pakistanis Apply for the Armenia E-Visa in 2026?

Yes — at the time of writing (October 2026), Pakistani citizens can use the online e-visa system at evisa.mfa.am.

In the past, Pakistan was on a list of countries that needed a formal invitation and a sticker visa from an embassy. That rule was repealed in June 2026. Since then, the e-visa route has been open.

But there is a catch. The change was made around the COP 17 climate conference held in Yerevan, and the Armenian authorities have said they may bring back stricter rules after the conference. So the current open status may not be permanent.

Our advice: always confirm the current rules before you apply or book flights. Message Bonita on WhatsApp at +92 321 5107411 and we will check the latest position for you.

Armenia E-Visa Fees (2026)

There are two visitor e-visa options:

  • Up to 21 days (single entry): USD 8
  • Up to 120 days: USD 39

These are government fees and they are non-refundable. If your application is refused, the fee is not returned. Double-check all your information before you pay.

Documents You Need

For the online application you will need:

  • A Pakistani passport valid for at least 6 months after your planned stay
  • A clear scan of your passport’s bio-data page
  • A recent passport-size photo (white background)
  • A working email address (the e-visa arrives by email)
  • A credit or debit card for the online payment
  • A confirmed return or onward flight booking
  • A hotel reservation or accommodation proof
  • Travel health insurance
  • Evidence of enough funds for your trip

Note: Pakistani applicants are sometimes asked for a cover letter from a host, company, or hotel in Armenia. This letter is optional — there is no fixed format, no approval step, and no extra fee. The documents that matter most are your flight booking, hotel booking, insurance, and proof of funds.

Processing Time

The official processing time is up to 3 working days from the first working day after you apply.

In practice, some applications take longer — a few weeks in some cases. Apply well before your travel dates. Do not book non-refundable flights or hotels until your visa is approved.

How to Apply: Step by Step

  1. Go to the official portal: evisa.mfa.am
  2. Select your travel document type (Ordinary Passport) and issuing country (Pakistan)
  3. Choose your visa duration (21 days or 120 days)
  4. Fill in your personal details and travel plans carefully
  5. Upload your passport scan and photo
  6. Pay the fee online by card or PayPal
